Any board game ideas for a school project?

This is for my World History II class.
The topics are:
Ottoman Empire, Mughal Empire, Songhai Empire, Inca Empire, Maya Empire, Aztec Empire, Renaissance [Art, Michelangelo, da Vinci, Shakespeare, Erasmus, Johann Gutenburg], Protestant Revolution [Martin Luther, John Calvin, Henry VIII, Thirty Years' War, Catholic Counter Reformation, The Jesuits, Inquisition] World Religions [Major beliefs & locations, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, Christianity, or Buddhism.]

Or a combination of these.
Also, I really hate Monopoly. Please stick with something else.
Thanks!

you know the game mouse trap

do that but for the spanish inquisition

you have to get your hebrew to safety and avoid the elaborate torture machine designed to catch sinners

you could try something to the effect of trivial pursuit. Risk is a good idea(from the other answer) too.

You have a challenge….designing simple board games are a 30 year prospect

It can be something as simple as all players have to get from point A to point B while landing on squares that read of events that can send you back or forward. Or have cards for other squares with random consequences or the like
